Living in Setapak

DSH Institute “is located in Platinum Walk, Setapak the City Centre of Kuala Lumpur, Capital of Malaysia.”

Platinum Walk “is taking a leaf from the famous Bintang Walk in Bukit Bintang. This area is also known as the Lake City shops, and is part of a 160-acre integrated development area.”

Setapak “is a major suburb in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Formerly a tin-mining and rubber-growing area, in Malay tapak means 'step' so Setapak means 'one step', probably referring to the close proximity of the suburb to Kuala Lumpur. Another explanation of the origin of its name traces to its historical roots.”

Kuala Lumpur, “also known as KL is the capital of Malaysia. The words Kuala Lumpur literally mean 'Muddy Confluence'. The metropolis got this nickname because it was founded near the place where the rivers Klang and Gombak intersect (which you can still see just behind Merdeka Square). Over the years Kuala Lumpur grew into an important Asian city. Within Malaysia Kuala Lumpur is seen as the center of the country; 'it happens all' in KL.”
