DURATION OF STUDIES : 2½ years (7 semesters)

This is a three-year programme designed to provide comprehensive education for students who are keen in developing the skills and knowledge needed in the hospitality and tourism industry. This programme focuses on skill-based training and exposes the students to the necessary knowledge in management and entrepreneurship which are essential for entry into the employment market. Upon completion of this programme, students will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of kitchen management, food and beverage management as well as tourism planning and management. Students will attend an internship programme where they will have an opportunity to have hands-on experience at leading hotels, travel agencies, event companies, food service outlets and entertainment service providers.



After graduation, the students will have a wide range of job opportunities in hotel management and marketing, food and beverage, culinary arts, travel and tourism, event management or other related sectors. The students also can easily hold managerial positions as they progress in their career in different parts of the world at the various establishments such as in the hotels, resorts, restaurants, travel agencies or in setting up their own businesses.

Full-time study delivered through the following methods:

  • Lecture
  • Tutorial/Practical
  • Assessments
  • Internship



  • Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a minimum of three (3) credits
  • Pass O’Level with a minimum of Grade C in three (3) subjects/
  • Pass STPM with one (1) Principle
  • Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of Grade B in three (3) subjects
  • Any other qualification equivalent to Malaysian Government
