Overview

The ‘Certificate in Assistant Nursing’, from DSH Institute of Technology, is one of the most reputed qualification in Malaysia. The program is approved by the Malaysian Nursing Board (Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia). It is notable that the passing rates for the Nursing Assistant Registry Examination (which is a compulsory examination by the Malaysian Nursing Board for graduates), has been at an all – time high of 100%.

 

The ‘Certificate in Assistant Nursing’ is a two-year program designed to prepare an individual for employment as an entry-level nursing assistant in public or private clinics, long-term care settings, hospitals, or adult day care facilities. The program consists of a combination of classroom and laboratory activities as well as clinical experience in government and private healthcare settings.

 

At the end of our ‘Certificate in Assistant Nurse’ programme at DSH Institute of Technology, students will be able to :

  1. understand the basics of medical sciences (anatomy, physiology, pathology & microbiology)
  2. develop essential communicative and medical skills required for assisting individuals in maintaining independence and promoting rehabilitation 
  3. gain clinical experience and hone basic nursing skills, through clinical placements,
    in all medical domains
