Diploma in Medical and Health Sciences (previously known as Diploma in Medical Assistant)
Overview
Medical assistants support doctors and nurses to ensure that healthcare facilities run smoothly. They are responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Medical assistants typically work in doctor’s offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The ‘Diploma In Medical and Health Sciences’ (previously known as ‘Diploma in Medical Assistant’) at DSH Institute of Technology is approved by the Malaysian Medical Assistant Board and the Ministry of Higher Education.
